Who are we?

We are Emma Turner and Scott Salmon, With years of experience and a genuine love for Cats, we pride ourselves on creating a home-away-from-home experience. We understand that leaving your precious pets behind can be difficult, which is why we go above and beyond to ensure their well-being and happiness during their time with us. Living on site at the cattery and having 24/7 CCTV we treat your Cats as our extended family.

Emma has a Level 3 Diploma in Feline Care, Behaviour and Welfare. She was a Police Community Support Officer for 10 years, as well as being a Wildlife Crime Officer before she followed her passion for rescuing Cats and turning that passion into her business. Before that she worked at Blue Cross Burford, rehoming and rehabilitating Horses for 7 years.

Emma and Scott have worked as volunteers for a local trapping service for 18 months prior to setting up our cattery; where we helped with a range of roles including: trapping, taming feral cats, caring for, rehoming, vet visits and medication etc for over 200 Cats.

At Purton Cattery, we are passionate about providing a nurturing and loving environment for your feline companions. Whether you are away on vacation, traveling for work, or need a safe place for your Cats during home improvements, we are here to provide them with the care they truly deserve.
